Campaign Arc
Wix was the head of a mage academy. It was destroyed in the Nergaoul summoning before he understood what was happening to it. By the time he knew, there was nothing left to save.
This means he has been in proximity to the Unmade before he knew what the Unmade were. That history is more significant than it appeared at first, and it will become more significant as the campaign progresses.
He carries the weight of an institution that no longer exists and students who may not have survived. What he does with that loss, and what he already understands about the forces that caused it, is part of what makes him valuable to the party and dangerous to Rayze’s plans.
